The process begins when you complete an application. A member of our recruitment team will contact you to discuss your specific skills, career goals, and time frames.

No, there is no obligation until you formally accept an assignment and we encourage candidates to explore all possibilities. Upon accepting an assignment, any commitment is only for the mutually agreed upon length of that particular assignment.

No, we never charge candidates fees for our services.

After completing the prescreening process, an assignment could begin in as little as a few days or, more typically, one to two weeks.

Assignments are available in a range of facility types, geographic regions, and industries, including biotechnology, medical device, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, environmental, chemicals, consumer care, clinical laboratories, hospitals, universities, and municipalities. The recruitment teams at Apex Life Sciences work to secure each candidate is matched with the right assignment.

After applying with Apex Life Sciences, candidates assigned to one of our recruitment teams. These professionals are dedicated to securing assignments closely aligned with your skills and preferences. Your Active Recruitment Team will provide you with the necessary information for you to make the best choice.

Apex Life Sciences maintains a vast network of relationships and contacts throughout the nation, enabling us to match our candidates with great opportunities at companies across the United States and Canada.

Each professional profile is immediately sent to the client and a telephone interview will be arranged with the person in charge of hiring. Each candidate is provided all the information needed about the position and the employer to ensure a successful interview and satisfactory placement.

Your recruitment team is with you every step of the way – from confirming all the details needed to start work and throughout the duration of the assignment. For additional support, our Contractor Care Center is open Monday through Friday, 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. PST to assist with any needs.

Our recruitment team takes an active part in managing the relationship and will consider replacing each candidate that successfully completes an assignment based on any current client needs. Apex Life Sciences also maintains a job history on every employee, so updating skill assessments and competencies to facilitate appropriate job matches may proactively help employees find and transition to subsequent assignments after the current assignment is completed.

Apex Life Sciences has very competitive wages and comprehensive and flexible benefit programs. Many assignments offer incentive programs that also include bonuses paid upon successful completion of the assignment.

Contract employees are paid weekly by check, direct deposit, or CashPay card (U.S. only). Typically contract employees’ pay is based on the number of hours worked and the position's pay rate. Direct hire employees are paid in accordance with our client’s payroll policies.

The majority of contract workers join Apex Life Sciences after hearing about us from our current employees. Referral bonuses are paid to current Apex Life Sciences contract employees once the referred employee has completed 200 hours of their assignment.
